| DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: What a handsome dwarf like wow, so handsome. No but he has a few scars but good luck disrobing him enough to find them? Some are nasty. There are approximately 900 stories per scar. Hands are the worst for scarring beneath the grime given his main inclination/profession as an artificer. Has a line of Ilde Sauvageon's poetry tattooed on his chest for reasons (I am the war, yes he knows what it means.) Other tattoos: raven perched on a bear inside his upper right arm for Asher, very difficult to see. Dwarven markings received whilst sober he'd never admit to for protection from harm, especially in battle/on long journeys in various locations. A mural on the left shoulder for the Boneflayers: Amalia's flames around Nasir's bow, coins stacked by Melisende's knives, a one eyed dog for Bronson, crossbow bolts and grey Coterie symbol for Liadan, alchemy bottles/deep mushrooms/elfroot/embrium for Gunnar, crossed axes behind all of it for Asher. Status
Also spends a lot of time in the underforge, where he actually does work. Steals from the kitchens often. Sleeps in the refugee camp unless he can sleep somewhere cosier.
Spends most of his time roaming around Kirkwall but never tends to stay anywhere for too long, not even his lodgings. The Undercity and Darktown claim him like you'd expect but Lady Vauquelin's estate would never turn him away and he's there on a semi-regular basis, same as in Ser Coupe's room that they share. His own Inquisition quarters in the Gallows act mostly as storage.
Avoids the Hanged Man like it's got some sort of festering plague, he'll do his drinking with others in their places if it pleases you from now on or at the Blooming Rose thanks.
Reputation
Disclaimer: Yngvi has a multiple choice past that he'll abuse to his heart's content, that being said:
He was Carta in Kirkwall, he doesn't ever deny that
He was and still is a Boneflayer with Asher Hardie (rip in peace honey badger supreme)
He is still Carta he's just more sort of freelancerish because one does not really leave the Carta, you take the boy out of the Carta, you can't take the Carta out of the boy
He was in Skyhold from Bloomingtide until mid-August when Asher passed
Generally known for being a pest, a rogue, loud, always under your feet; there's a handy post linked on his journal for hammering out past CR since it's easiest to sort it that way.

Do you want a small dwarf that will probably be your best friend because there is like...nothing beyond abject betrayal that pisses Yngvi off? Congratulations. But also he'll probably threaten you if you push too hard in trying to get a straight answer out of him. Do you want traps? Do you have past shady dealings with the Carta? Do you have past shady Kirkwall dealings? Did two dwarves accost you in Skyhold? Would you like to learn how to make traps? Did the Boneflayers run a job for you?
Look, Yngvi is a pest but he is a strangely endearing pest with a tiny peanut brain, so I'm easy for working stuff out.
Also seriously if you fuck with Gwen he will ruin your life. You do not want that.

GIFTS Yngvi is an urchin from a gutter in Kirkwall (Darktown to be precise) who "jokes" that he and his Carta brother Gunnar devoured all their other siblings to survive, he will be happy with all gifts. Like really. He did not have much. Ever. But alcohol (not dwarven why would he want to drink Orzammar's swill?), food, trap components, weird and wonderful objects he can sell? All good.
